Performance Description

Nita & Zita is staged as an interview with the two sisters after their deaths. From out in the audience, a “Mr. Interviewer” asks questions and draws out stories from the two women, who periodically interrupt themselves to berate him, each other, Katie and Kathy as performers, and to show off their original clothing and costumes and wow us with their show girl routines. Nita & Zita was created for its New Orleans audience, then toured to Austin, Minneapolis, and New York City. Complete description TK.
